      Subject:  Supply of Acetone to the National Archives of India

 

1.     Sealed quotations are invited for the supply of 3x200 litres of NOCIL brand acetone to this department on the following terms and conditions:

 

a)  The supply of acetone will be made in sealed drums which will be kept under storage by the dealer for this department after the material has been inspected by the authorized officer of this department and marked ‘sold to the National Archives of India’

 

b)  Delivery of acetone will be made in small returnable container of 25 litres as per requirement of this department against telephonic orders free of delivery charges.  Normally two such deliveries are expected in a month.

 

c)  An account of supply made will be kept by the dealer as well as by the department and the arrangement will last till the stock sold and marked as such is exhausted.

 

2.  The quotation including the charge for the supplies made and for the storage and delivery as per clause a, b, & c above may be submitted so as to reach the undersigned in person or under registered cover upto 12 noon on 24-02-2010 and will be opened on the same day at 3 p.m. in the presence of those dealers or their representatives who happen to be present at that time.  The final acceptance of the quotations rests with the Director General of Archives who does not bind himself to accept the lowest rate of quotation and reserves to himself the right to reject any or all the quotations received without assigning any reason thereof.  In case your quotation is accepted the goods will have to be supplied within ten days from the date of placing a firm order as per terms and conditions mentioned above.

 

     The quotations which do not fulfill all or any of the above conditions or are incomplete in any respect are liable to summary rejection without further reference to the tenderars.

 

      The quotation should bear the superscription “Quotation for Acetone due on 24-02-2010
